Join the Levy CIMAR in Combatting the Rise and Spread of Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR)
Antimicrobial resistance can affect anyone of any age, anywhere, and it is ranked among the World Health Organization’s top 10 threats to global health. According to the most comprehensive estimate to date, more than 1.27 million people died in 2019 alone as a direct result of antibiotic-resistant bacterial infections (The Lancet, 2022). The Stuart B. Levy Center for Integrated Management of Antimicrobial Resistance at Tufts (Levy CIMAR) strives to address this global crisis in three key ways:
Developing combination drug therapies to treat AMR and slow the development of resistant strains in human and veterinary medicine.
Advocating for responsible antimicrobial usage and surveillance of antimicrobial resistance that are informed by the connection of human health to the health of animals and the environment.

Please consider making a donation to support this vital work. Your contribution will help battle against worldwide AMR.
